How can a small business survive and prosper in markets with larger and stronger competitors?

Im looking at setting up a business so im looking for more opinions/help on the issue for small business and potential small business people such as myself

thanks for your time and if you have any links to any things which can help me on the issue is most welcome e.g. how to market the business, suppliers for small business etc

*Once you get set up and in business your biggest benefit you can offer to your customers is guest service & convenience! The two things the consumer doesn’t get in the big box retail arena*

    Probably you need lots of thugs to do your illegal work and mafia connections would help. Paying taxes can be a huge source of financial loss as well.

    By providing excellent customer service. I find myself this is what is lacking in most large companies. This will work untill it comes time to incorporate…when this happens or you merge with a larger company, then you might find that customer service sucks, but keep trying to provide the best of the best in that regard and people will choose you over the big guys :) Take Care-Rachel.

    when i was in business management i have learned that if you are going to have a business you should start from a small business than to a larger one, all those large and strong competitors you have mentioned starts from being small but they became successful because they know they can do it, just consider all the factors in starting a business, if you really want to engage in that business you should take the risk…

    be SMART..Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Reliable and Time bound…
